Adobe Acrobat Connect Professional

Version: 6
Vista compatibility: Connect Professional works with Vista but there are issues.
Vendor Support: Unsupported. As of February, 2007, Connect 6 does not officially support Windows Vista. The vendor is testing a Windows Vista compatible version for Adobe Presenter and Connect Professional. Once the fix is released to us, we will update the Adobe Acrobat Connect server to ensure compatibility with the Vista operating system. BlackBoard

Version: 7.2
Vista Compatibility: Blackboard 7.2 is compatible with Windows Vista. However, there is a limitation found in the Content System or Content Collection when accessing Blackboard 7.2 using Windows Vista. BroncoDirect

Vista Compatibility: Compatible with IE7 (Internet Explorer 7). BroncoDirect is browser dependent, not OS dependent.
Vendor Support: Officially supported.

DataWarehouse

Version: Hyperion 8.5 SP2
Vista Compatibility: Incompatible. The Data Warehouse is accessible through Hyperion. Hyperion will be releasing Service Pack 3 in the third quarter of 2007, which will contain support for Windows Vista. They do not recommend using Vista with their current product.
Vendor Support: Unsupported. Version 9 is compatible with Vista.

PeopleSoft

Version: 8.46.17
Vista Compatibility: Vista compatibility for PeopleSoft is largely tied to IE7 (Internet Explorer 7).

For PeopleSoft (PS) developers, there are a few incompatibilities, including a ftp plugin called “Repliweb”. Our PeopleTools version will not be upgraded to a version certified for Vista until 2009. In the meantime PS developers will have the following options to use certified applications: Do not upgrade workstation to Vista, or upgrade workstation to Vista but access PeopleSoft Development Tools via Terminal Server.

For end users of PS, there have been no problems with Vista compatibility.

Please note that most vendors are only recently supporting Vista. The version of the software in use on your computer may need to be patched in order for it to function correctly on Windows Vista. Please visit the vendor website if you have any questions on Vista compatibility.
