Microsoft does not include retired (Emeritus) faculty and staff in the current licensing agreement. Along with the licensing, the CSU also receives Microsoft Software Assurance which covers the products for any new releases that come out during the three-year term of the contract. Work-at-home (WAH) provisions are also included in the Campus Agreement for faculty and staff. Microsoft software for use at home must be tracked.

For information on CSU's Microsoft Campus Agreement via the Chancellor's Office, see the Microsoft Campus, Select and Student Select Agreements for 2009 - 2011.
