Access Cal Poly Pomona’s Identity Management System by using an Internet browser (such as Internet Explorer) to go to the page: http://www.csupomona.edu/claimaccount/.
After reading Cal Poly Pomona’s Appropriate Use Policy for Information Technology, click, “I accept the Appropriate Use Policy.”
Click “Continue.”
Input the correct responses to the two identity-verification questions you are prompted to answer (the questions in the sample below may not be the same two questions as the ones you are asked).
Click “Continue.”
Enter a password that meets the provided password guidelines, and repeat to ensure accuracy.
Click “Continue” and read the short message.
Click “Continue.”
Select the number of secret questions (3 is the minimum and 5 is the maximum) you’d like to create as protection for your BroncoPassword by choosing that number from the drop-down list.
Enter the appropriate number of questions (either by choosing from the list of questions provided or by entering your own) and the corresponding answers.
Click “Continue.”
The identity claiming process is complete when you reach the “Success!” screen.
