Client Setup Instruction Guides - Entourage
These guides assume that you have Entourage 2004 (11.3.6 - 070618) with the latest security updates and that you are connected to the Cal Poly Pomona network via the VPN service.

Pre-Configuration Settings:
NOTE: Only perform the following "Pre-Configuration Settings" if your computer is NOT a part of the campus WIN domain.
Note: We are ensuring that our email is even more secure by supporting "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) for our Webmail, POP, IMAP and SMTP servers.
If you need to send or receive email before completing configuration of your local email client, you can still access email through your web browser interface at:
https://exchange.csupomona.edu.
- Close the wizard.

- Click on Tools > Accounts.
- Click on the Exchange tab.
- On the Accounts window:
- Click on New.
- Select Exchange.

- Click on "Configure account manually."

- Go to Step 4 of the Re-configuration Guide below to continue configuring your Entourage email client.
Re-configure Entourage
- Open Entourage.
- Click on Tools > Accounts.
- Select the previous configured Exchange Account.

- On the Edit Account: Account Settings window:
- Under the Personal Information section, enter your BroncoName and BroncoPassword.
- Under the Server Information, the exchange server is: exchange.csupomona.edu.
- Check mark the option "This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)".
- Click OK.

- On the Edit Account window:
- Click on the Advanced tab.
- Under the Public Folder Settings section:
- Public folders server is: exchange.csupomona.edu/public.
- Check mark the option "This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)".
- Under the Directory Settings section:
- The LDAP server is: ldap.csupomona.edu.
- The Search base is: dc=csupomona, dc=edu.
- Click OK.
