I&IT Operations manages several open access general computing labs that are available for use by anyone with a current and valid Cal Poly Bronco ID. These labs provide Internet access, as well as general computing applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Multimedia workstations, available only in the Computing Commons, are equipped with Adobe and Macromedia software. Intranet services are also available in the Computing Commons. Operating hours vary from lab to lab. To learn more about each of our open access general computing labs, click on one of the lab names listed above. When you click on a lab, you'll be provided with an opportunity to learn more about lab hours and installed software.
I&IT Operations manages two instructional support labs. They are C5-15 and C5-16. The C5-16 lab is available for use by instructors who want to teach hands on. The C5-15 lab is available for use by staff for hands-on staff training. These labs provide Internet access, as well as general computing applications such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
