Browser Issues:
Internet Explorer 8:
Instructors cannot:
- Add an image to a hot spot question type in a quiz or test
- Import a Blackboard test in a zip file format within the Test Manager and Pool Manager page. The instructor will receive a “Please enter a valid file” message.
- View a website posted in a Blackboard course if he/she clicks "Yes" to the message "Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?"
Workaround options:
- Click "No" to the message "Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?"
- Or, change an Internet Explorer 8 security setting by following these directions: "Changing_IE8_setting.PDF". [.pdf, 157kb]
Note: You must have Adobe Reader to open and view all PDF files with full functionality. To download Adobe Reader 9.1, visit http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html (link opens in a new window).
