Every year the Engineering Council hosts three premium events including Engineering Club Welcome Fair, National Engineers Week, and Engineering Club Leadership Retreat. Each of these events brings hundreds of top engineering student leaders together.
Engineering Council Premium Events:
Engineering Club Welcome Fair, October
A chance for all engineering students to explore the many opportunities available to them. More than 600 students attend to meet current club members, get information, and get involved with any of more than 40 engineering clubs and other unique programs.
National Engineers Week, February
A week of events to increase public awareness about the engineering profession and how engineering affects our everyday lives. In observance of Engineers Week, the College and Engineering Council host guest speakers, student competitions, and club activities, such as food sales, games, competitions, and project displays.
Engineering Club Leadership Retreat, May
More than 300 engineering student leaders attend a one day event to learn important leadership skills such as public speaking, managing club budgets, and time management. Club leaders also plan for the upcoming academic year.
