The system consists of a an input position potentiometer, a gear-driven output with a sensing potentiomer, an analog control system shown on the white breadboard, and a commercially-purchased power supply.
Another ETE 350 servo design project is shown below, along with an output waveform of the closed-loop step response for the system.
Below is a picture of a rather "dated" commercially-produced servo system that are available in the college. Here, the original discrete electronic controller has been replaced by a breadboard of a modern controller.
