The Hospitality Management Council is a student government organization that represents hospitality students in the campus community. All students in The Collins School of Hospitality Management (CSHM) are automatically members of the Hospitality Management Council (HMC).

Associated Students Incorporated is a student government organization that represents all students in the campus community. This organization is funded through the collection of student fees. For additional information please visit the web site for Associated Students Incorporated. All students at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona are members of Associated Students Incorporated.

Each Spring students elect the executive boards for the upcoming academic year for each student club and for the Hospitality Management Council.

5. Although I have little free time, but I would like to be involved, what can I do?
In all student clubs and organizations at The Collins School of Hospitality Managment, short-term committees are used to ensure that activities and events are carried out in a professional manner. Typically, students can volunteer for a committee that specifically works on one activity or event. Once the activity or event has concluded the student no longer needs to be involved. Committee work is a great way to contribute to your fellow students and to The Collins School of Hospitality Management.
