Tutors are available through Disabled Student
Services for students who may need assistance with learning for
particular classes. A Tutor Request Form should be submitted to DSS
listing the specific course(s) and the kind of help needed (i.e.,
computer, math review, specialized course material, etc.). You will
then be matched with a tutor who can meet your needs.
The earlier in the quarter a request is
submitted, the more likely a successful match can be made. Waiting
may result in not receiving a tutor.
Tutors working with DSS students are volunteer
peer tutors. Tutors will receive Priority
Registration in exchange for 20 hours of volunteer service. The
time, place and duration of the tutoring sessions will be determined
between the tutor and tutee.
Additional tutoring services may be provided for
those DSS students enrolled in the ARCHES
program.
