Applying for DRC Services
Students requesting mobility service due to a temporary disability (e.g. broken leg), please refer to the Mobility Assistance page.
DRC Registration Process – Student with a Documented Disability
Step 1: Required Forms and Disability Documentation
The student is required to submit* the following:
- Application for Services
- DRC Intake Form
- Disability documentation (see Disability Documentation Guidelines)
Step 2: Eligibility for Services Review
Once the complete packet of required forms and documentation is received in our office, DRC will review to determine eligibility for services. The student will be contacted if additional documentation is required to determine eligibility. PLEASE NOTE: The review process can take up to 3 weeks, depending on the number of applications received. Plan accordingly!
Step 3: Intake Appointment
The student will be contacted to meet with the appropriate DRC specialist for an Intake appointment. The Intake appointment will confirm the reasonable and appropriate accommodations and other services for which the student qualifies.
Step 4: Orientation Appointment
The student will be required to attend an Orientation(s) regarding the procedures for use of the approved accommodations and services. The student must complete their Orientation(s) before they can use their accommodations.

If you are a student who suspects that they might have a disability and would like DRC to assist with a consultation and/or referral to appropriate professionals in the community, complete and submit a DRC Referral Questionnaire packet, available in the DRC office (9/103). After DRC reviews the packet, you will be contacted regarding your next steps.
