CE 325 Geotechnical Engineering I

CE 325 is the first undergraduate course in geotechnical engineering.  It is a required course for all civil engineering students at Cal Poly Pomona.  Topics include the following:

• Engineering geology
• Site exploration and characterization
• Soil composition
• Soil classification
• Excavation, grading, and compacted fill
• Groundwater
• Geoenvironmental engineering

This course is normally offered only during the Fall Quarter.
