I have really enjoyed the class English 213 and feel that I have learned a lot about other cultures. It is very interesting to learn about universal themes within other ethnicities and to make connections between all different cultures. I think the textbook for this course was a great choice and it contained a lot of wonderful stories. It was definitely good to read a variety of stories instead of focusing on one particular novel throughout the entire course. The book helped me stay interested and was very detailed. I really liked how at the begining of each story there is a summary of the author that explains where the author is from and any significant reasons they focused on their topic.
