2. Exercise on Genie:
What was the most important or interesting thing we can learn from the Genie case (film and book are your data), in terms of (a) linguistics, (b) scientific research on human beings, and (c) our society, in your opinion?
3. Holy Ghost People: A lot of things are going on in the service of the Holiness Church. Some of them seem strange to us. How would you characterize the general pattern of communication in this event? What do you think keeps people coming back to this church?
