Teaching and Research

Dr. Andrei is teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Geotechnical and Transportation Engineering. His research interests include: pavement materials characterization, structural pavement design, maintenance and rehabilitation strategies, pavement management, preservation and the design of sustainable pavements.

Dr. Andrei is leading the Pomona Satellite of the California Pavement Preservation Center. The Center provides public agencies and industry with technical assistance, educational programs and research services in the area of pavement preservation.
