All Collins School Students Should Know...

.  Know their curriculum year (upper right-hand corner of the curriculum yellow sheet).

.  Know their academic advisor (Student Services Office).

.  Know their faculty mentor (assigned and listed with Student Services Office).

.  Know the process for registering for classes (BroncoDirect).

.  Know the process for adding classes (BroncoDirect).

.  Know the policy for dropping classes (BroncoDirect).

.  Know deadlines for documentation (Printed schedule of classes, Registrar Academic Calender).

.  Know when to apply for scholarships and internships (Student Services Office).

.  Know which classes to take and which classes are needed for graduation (Curriculum Sheet).

Information for Freshmen (0-44 completed units)

.  Freshmen should determine the interest area to pursue while enrolled in The Collins School.

.  Freshmen should determine which General Education classes are needed (Refer to your Academic Plan).

.  Freshmen should know the required Hospitality Management core classes  (Refer to your curriculum sheet).

.  Freshmen should determine which Support Courses to take (Refer to your Academic Plan and your curriculum sheet).

.  Freshmen should know who their faculty mentor is and how to contact the mentor for a quarterly appointment.

Information for Sophomores (45-89 completed units)

.  Sophomores should be familiar with and adhere to the HRT Core Prerequisite Flow Chart.

.  Sophomores should be determining which section of the Food and Beverage Series to take-Lunch is Section 1 and Dinner is Section 2.

.  Sophomores should be working to fulfill Professional Work Experience requirements (800 hours) for enrolling in HRT341.

Information for Juniors (90-134 completed units)

.  Juniors should register for the Graduate Writing Test (The Test Center) when 90 units have been completed.

.  Juniors will have a registration hold placed if registration for the GWT has not been completed when the student has 120 units completed.

.  Juniors should update, if necessary, courses taken toward degree (Refer to your Academic Plan and curriculum sheet).

Information for Seniors (135 + units)

.  Seniors should file for a grad check when 40 or less units are left for completion of degree requirements (Registrar's Office).

.  Seniors should update, if necessary, courses taken toward degree (Refer to your Academic Plan).

.  Seniors should file for graduation in the Registrar's Office.
