Collins School Clubs

WELCOME TO THE COLLINS SCHOOL OF HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT!!!

Welcome, and thank you for visiting your Hospitality Management Council (HMC) webpage. As your 2005-2006 Executive Board, we hope to help create some new and exciting events, support club and organization pride and unity, and recruit more students to get involved in The Collins School spirit of volunteerism and school pride. Of course, none of this can be possible without you, the students! We hope to provide you an exciting and career-developing experience with everything we wish to offer you this year, and we hope to see you involved!

The Collins School of Hospitality Management offers you, the students, many opportunities to get involved with clubs such as: Club Managers Association of America (CMAA), Cal Poly Hospitality Association (CPHA), Round Table for Food Professionals (RFP), and our honor society Eta Sigma Delta (ETA). These clubs and organizations provide an addition avenue to understanding and experiencing the hospitality industry beyond the classroom. We also have some exciting new clubs in the works, which we will keep you posted on. The only thing we ask from you is your participation, so join one of our national student-chapter organizations now!

Although HMC is not a club, we play an important role in supporting the clubs and organizations at The Collins School, and in representing the students. Our primary service is to facilitate communication and information, and act as the governing-representative to The Collins School students, clubs, and organizations. One of our goals is to make sure that your suggestions and opinions are heard at The Collins School and on the main campus.
