Course Repeat Policy

Since Spring 2001, the Computer Science department has instituted a policy that says that you may take a particular Computer Science class at most twice. This policy will be implemented as staff time permits. Course lists will be screened and students who do not qualify will be dropped.

Here is how it will affect you:

  • If you are taking a class for the first time, you will be allowed to repeat it once after that.
  • If you are taking a class for the second or greater time, you will not be allowed, under the new policy, to repeat the course any more times after that.

In any case, please make an extra effort to pass each class you are taking. You will be helping us solve the capacity problem we are facing, and you will be helping other students who are trying to get into these classes.

Questions should be directed to your academic advisor or to Brian Pangan at bepangan@csupomona.edu
