Graduation 2008

All participants should arrive no later than 3:00 pm in order to be properly assembled by program. Students and faculty will line up in front of Building 8, the College of Science.

Before joining the processional, students are requested to pick up a white card at the tables situated in the grassy area. Please fill out the card with your name, address, e-mail address and the phonetic spelling of your name. You will later hand the card to the announcer before you walk on to the stage to receive your certificate.  This information will also be used to send proofs of photos taken of you to your email account by Sunday.

  • The processional begins promptly at 4:00 pm
  • ENV Staff will assist you as you line up and direct you to the appropriate area to be seated.
  • The ENV Staff will also direct the graduates to the stage when your department name is announced.
  • Parking – Lots M & J are the suggested lots for graduates and their families. If you have a special parking need, please contact the Office of Disabled Student Services at (909) 869-3333.  Campus maps are available online at www.csupomona.edu/visitors.php
  • Seating – Seating for family and friends is on a “first come” basis. There will be a designated area for handicapped seating.
  • Reception – The College of Environmental Design will host a reception for graduates, family and friends immediately after the ceremony.  The reception will be in the Atrium of Building 7 at the top of the hill. 
  • The ceremony will also be Web cast live on the Internet at http://video.csupomona.edu.
