Welcome to The Collins College of Hospitality Management. This is an exciting time to pursue an education in hospitality management. The hospitality industry thrives throughout the world, including our home here in Southern California. At The Collins College we not only educate students about this dynamic and growing industry, we prepare them to be its next generation of leaders.
Founded in 1973, The Collins College of Hospitality Management is the oldest and largest four-year hospitality Bachelor of Science program in California. Consistently ranked among the nation's premier hospitality management programs, The Collins College provides students with a superior education in a state-of-the-art facility, where theories and concepts are applied to real-world settings.
We have a richly diverse student body that is both active inside and outside the classroom. Numerous student clubs and vital hands-on courses like the restaurant series where students operate the Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch - all add to our learning-centered environment.
Collins College students benefit greatly from the expertise of our faculty, who are active in research, publishing and consulting. Many faculty have held top positions in all areas of hotel, resort, club, casino and restaurant management. Their experience enables us to offer curriculum that is grounded in real-world application, so as students enter the workforce they are prepared to be productive leaders.
In order to keep our program cutting edge, The Collins College maintains strong partnerships with industry leaders. These partnerships provide financial support that bolsters the College's overall success and add an important context to the education we provide students. Our Board of Advisors, for example, is comprised of 45 leading hospitality executives who provide us vital feedback to help us stay on top of trends and other advances in the industry.
I invite you to visit The Collins College of Hospitality Management and learn more about our stellar program. Stay for lunch or dinner at the Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch - you will not be disappointed.
