The Collins College is on Cal Poly Pomona's maintenance schedule for painting, carpet cleaning and window washing.

The Collins College's Computer Lab in Building 79 was completely renovated during the spring 2012 quarter. The new lab features 14 computer stations while integrating stylish furniture, lighting fixtures and a mural. See photos from the grand opening.

The Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch is one of the most public student laboratories at Cal Poly Pomona. Built in 1990, this student-managed and student-operated restaurant is in regular need of maintenance to keep it functioning at the highest standards available.
In the summer of 2012, work began to upgrade the public restrooms, replace carpeting and replace the roof of Building 79. All of these changes were done with sustainability in mind. Low-flow infrared faucets were installed as were LED lighting and high-speed hand dryers that reduce the need for paper towels.
In 2009, a $500,000 kitchen remodel was funded by private donations from Andrew and Peggy Cherng and gifts-in-kind from the Fischer Group, Cambro Manufacturing Company, MICROS Systems and Ecolab.
In 2005, the dining room was remolded with private donations. This interior-design project included new countertops, cabinetry, carpeting and paint.
