Inland Empire Businessman Pledges $1 million to The Collins College

Cal Poly Pomona’s Collins College of Hospitality Management is $1 million closer to breaking ground on a $10 million educational complex thanks to Eugene Park, a prominent Inland Empire businessman and alumnus. Cal Poly Pomona Wine Wins Second Gold Medal (June 15, 2010)
Cal Poly Pomona’s Horsehill Vineyards 2009 Rosé won a gold medal for the second year in a row at the 71st annual Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits Competition. The wine is available at the university’s Farm Store at Kellogg Ranch, which is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will be poured during the Wine and Cars Under the Stars fund-raiser on Saturday, June 19, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Fairplex. Cal Poly Pomona to Offer California’s Only Master of Science in Hospitality Management

Building from its renowned undergraduate program, The Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona has launched a Master of Science in Hospitality Management (MSHM). The graduate program is the only hospitality management degree program of its kind in California. The California State University Board of Trustees voted to approve the program on March 17. Top Chef Winner Ilan Hall will bring his culinary expertise to The Collins College of Hospitality Management’s Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch at Cal Poly Pomona for a cooking demonstration followed by a three-course dinner on Sunday, March 7 at 6 p.m. Advance tickets are $40 per guest and $50 at the door.
