The Collins College of Hospitality Management Alumni Chapter was revised this fall with Steven Senft ’98 at the helm. The new chapter president has high hopes that the membership will grow, and he expects chapter’s first event to coincide with the college’s Hospitality Career Expo in February.

CEO of Dunkin’ Brands to Speak About ‘Lessons on Leadership’ (Sept. 26, 2008)
Jon L. Luther, a veteran in the food-service industry, will be the featured speaker in the 2008 Richard N. Frank Distinguished Lectureship Series on Tuesday, Oct. 14. The CEO and chairman of Dunkin' Brands will give a free presentation titled “Lessons on Leadership” from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in The Collins College of Hospitality Management’s Building 79-A.
Interim Associate Dean of Collins Appointed (Aug. 24, 2008)
Dean Andy Feinstein has announced that Michael Godfrey, who has taught for more than 10 years at The Collins College of Hospitality Management, has been appointed interim associate dean of the college. Godfrey replaces Joe Casey who came out of retirement two years ago to help run the college under interim Dean David Klock's leadership.

The Collins School of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona will officially be renamed The Collins College of Hospitality Management. The new status positions The Collins College of Hospitality Management to be the first hospitality management college in the California State University system and among about six nationwide.
Collins School Announces New Director of Communications & External Relations (May 21, 2008)
The Collins College of Hospitality Management is pleased to announce that Lisa McPheron, formerly of Cal Poly Pomona's Office of Public Affairs, has become the director of communications and external relations. She will oversee the production of a new biannual magazine about The Collins College of Hospitality Management as well as head the College's alumni program.
