Howard has over 28 years of experience in building and operating successful restaurant businesses. In 2008, he launched Gordon Restaurant Group, which offers consulting services to restaurant and hotel companies.
Before launching his own consulting company, Howard was fully involved in all facets of the Cheesecake Factory, from site selections, contract negotiation, logo creation, food service layouts, menu and product development, and construction follow-up, all the way to full operation, as well as being an official taster for menu creations. Being responsible for the Marketing and Public Relations for the company, Howard assisted in managing the “brand”—The Cheesecake Factory. His multi-unit development and management expertise in a high-growth environment helped The Cheesecake Factory execute its aggressive growth plan.
