Steven L. Senft ‘98
Steven Senft serves as Ethika Investments' vice president of capital markets with more than 13 years experience in hotel operations, retail ownership and real estate transaction and advisory work valued at more than $1 billion. At Ethika Investments, Mr. Senft's primary focus is to build and maintain global investors' relationships, provide investors access to a diversified portfolio of commercial real estate assets while sourcing domestic and international equity with family offices. Prior to joining Ethika Investments, Mr. Senft was a Senior Broker at HREC Investment Advisors in Los Angeles, representing sellers and buyers of hotel assets primarily in the Pacific states. At HREC Mr. Senft held integral roles at every stage of the disposition marketing process, including property valuations, marketing, strategy, investor outreach, buyer selection, due diligence and closings. Prior to HREC, Mr. Senft was president of 1st Link Financial where he performed real estate financial analysis to create investor wealth in both commercial and residential realty.
As an entrepreneur, he co-founded, developed and successfully sold the Island Shades, Inc. retail operation with more than 20 stores nationwide. Mr. Senft began his career with Hyatt Hotels and Hilton Hotels where he has five years combined hotel sales operation experience. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from The Collins College of Hospitality Management and holds a Master of Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Mr. Senft earned his Certification in Real Estate, Development and Hotel Investment from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in California and is in his second term as the president of the Collins Hospitality Society. Mr. Senft is a member of various professional organizations and is an honorary member of The Collins College's Board of Advisors.
