Nung Rigor ‘00
Nung Rigor is an Executive Council agent of New York Life Insurance Company. She graduated from The Collins College of Hospitality Management in 2000 and was inducted into the Golden Key Society that year. While at The Collins College, she was the recipient of Lundberg Society Scholarship 1999. She was also part of the piloted Disney Partnership Program.
Prior to joining New York Life, Rigor held various management positions at the Disneyland Resort, Wilshire Grand Hotel, and Lawry’s Restaurants, Inc. for more than 10 years.
While balancing family life and career, Rigor stays active in her community and business networks. She is a proud member of Rotary Club, Los Angeles, an ambassador of Fullerton Chamber of Commerce, a counselor at Inland Empire Women’s Business Center, and a chairperson at Woman’s Club of Fullerton.
Rigor’s approach in her business is educating people about financial planning and the consequence of not having effective plan in place. Her specialty areas are retirement planning, legacy and charitable planning, estate planning, and income replacement planning for business owners and individuals. She has shared her knowledge and spoken at L.A. County Employees Symposium, Congressman Joe Baca’s Women’s Conference, LAX airport employees meeting, Inland Empire Women’s Business Center, Institute for Women Entrepreneur of Orange County, and many corporate meetings.
Rigor resides in Hacienda Heights with her husband of eight years, Rodrigo, her stepdaughter, Rachel, and her son, Riley. In her free time, she loves to read, travel, cook, and attend personal development seminars to better herself in all areas of her life. Rigor loves what she does and is very proud and humbled to serve her clients and being part of Fortune 100 Company like New York Life. Rigor is honored to serve as a board member of the Collins Hospitality Society and is excited to reconnect with old college friends, meet new friends and share connections and experience with everyone.
