General Information
The Collins Ambassador Program is designed to:
- Provide a unique leadership opportunity to Collins College students
- Support the College in its recruiting efforts to high schools and community colleges
- Promote involvement and volunteerism among current Collins College students

Duties
- Visit assigned high schools and community colleges to conduct information sessions about the College
- Support and attend major College events including (but not limited to):
- Bronco Fusion, Poly Palooza/Preview Day, Board of Advisor meetings, Harvest Celebration, Showcase of Excellence, Collins Connection, Hospitality Career Expo, Richard N. Frank Lectureship Series
- Assist in on-campus information sessions and new student orientations
- Serve as tour guides and hosts for prospective students and special guests of the college
- Increase student awareness of co-curricular events, scholarship opportunities and volunteerism

Eligibility Requirements
- Have a minimum CPP 3.0 GPA
- Have completed a minimum of two quarters as a Collins College student
- Ability to participate in a minimum term (Spring 2012 - Spring 2013)
- Ability to demonstrate superb oral communication skills, public speaking skills, an outgoing personality, commitment, enthusiasm, and active involvement within The Collins College
- Must submit Collins Ambassador application and supporting materials by April 13 , 2012 to Summer Pettus, Student Services Coordinator
Application and Selection Process
- Complete a 2012-2013 application including:
- A complete application
- Answers to 5 essay questions
- 2 recommendation forms
- Current resume
- Unofficial transcript printed in Winter 2012
- Must submit Collins Ambassador application and supporting materials by April 13 , 2012 to Summer Pettus, Student Services Coordinator
- Applicants will be contacted by email to schedule an interview on Friday, April 20
- If selected, you will be notified by email by April 27
- Orientation and training will take place during the month of May and June
