The President’s Climate Task Force
In spring, 2007, President Ortiz convened a task force of administrators, faculty, staff and students to develop an institutional response to the climate commitment. Since that time, numerous individuals have volunteered to assist the task force on sub-committees examining data collection, policy, education & communication, energy, transportation, buildings, housing, agriculture and landscape, mitigation and offsets, and fund-raising.
