Academic Requirements |

- Be currently enrolled in the Civil Engineering curriculum for a minimum of one year.
- Have completed a minimum of 90 units by the end of Winter Quarter.
- Maintain a Cumulative 3.000 Minimum CPP GPA by the end of Winter Quarter 2012.
- Earn an A grade in a CE 300 or higher level class by the end of Winter Quarter
- If you are a transfer student, provide proof of completion of 36 units at Cal Poly Pomona.
- Initiates are required to submit the Certification Academic Requirements form to very they have met the academic requirements listed above. Dr. Cheng, our chapter faculty advisor, will sign the aforementioned form upon being shown a copy of the initiate's unofficial transcript with the relevant sections highlighted. Please have the form completed after Winter quarter and prior to April 16, 2013 when all all initiation requirements are due.
Note: If these requirements are not met, you will not be able to initiate. Graduate students’ academic requirements may vary, consult with the President for details. |

| Pledge Requirements |
|
- Attend the first 12 Chi Epsilon MANDATORY meetings.
- Attend a minimum of 4 ASCE meetings.
- Attend a minimum of 4 CE club meetings for CalGeo, ITE, SEE, SEACPP, and/or CLSA (not including ASCE meetings).
- Attend a minimum of 2 social events hosted by any CE club, including but not limited to:
- Broomball
- Restaurant Fundraisers (submit receipts for proof)
- Bowling Night
- Tech Tours
- Engineer’s Week
- Complete 4 hours of community service, which may include:
- Steel Bridge
- Concrete Canoe
- On-campus related engineering events
- Servicing a charitable foundation in your community
- Complete a total of 2 hours of community service for the 2012 Chi Epsilon National Conclave and/or the ASCE Pacific Southwest Regional Conference 2012.
- Pay the non-refundable, one-time fee of $150.00 total by October 9, 2012..
- Participate in the 13th Annual Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Job Fair on February 28, 2013.
- Pass the Chi Epsilon Initiate Quiz with a minimum score of 80% on November 20, 2012. If you do not pass, you are given only one more chance to take the quiz and receive the minimum score on Feburary 5, 2013.
- Submit resume to cppchiepsilon@gmail.com by February 19, 2013.
- Participate in Chi Epsilon Transit Key Project, due February 28, 2013.
- Complete all initiation requirements and submit all initiation forms on April 16, 2013.
- Submit Letter of Recommendation in a sealed envelope signed by the reference, by Apirl 16, 2013.
- Attend the Initiation Ceremony and Banquet on April 20, 2013 on time! If you are late to either event, you will not initiate and must wait until the following year’s Initiation Ceremony.
