Undergraduate Program

The Chemistry Department is administratively situated within the College of Science. There are approximately 350 undergraduate majors, in addition to which there are approximately 18 graduate students and 13 tenure-track faculty members. The Department typically graduates between 10 and 20 majors each year. The Department offers a degree that is certified by the American Chemical Society.

The degree offered by the Department has three possible Options in order to permit students to tailor their curriculum choices to best fit their career goals. The three options are: Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry and Biochemistry.
