ELEMENTS OF THE CENTER FOR FOOD MARKETING AND AGRIBUSINESS SOLUTIONS (CFMAS)

Since 2002, the CFMAS has focused on applied research. CFMAS representatives have engaged in research related to various industries, from the farm to the consumer. Results of projects have been presented at the following venues:

• The American Agricultural Economics Association annual meeting
• The International Food and Agribusiness Management Association World Food and Agribusiness Symposium
• The Food Distribution Research Society Conference
• The Western Extension and Research Activity (WERA) #72 for Agribusiness Competitiveness
• The Central California Research Symposium

The CFMAS Applied Research Report Series consists of peer-reviewed research related to food marketing and agribusiness, with a focus on California. There are currently several projects underway at the CFMAS, but we are always looking for more. If you would like to sponsor a research project about your company or industry, please contact us. CFMAS representatives are ready and able to engage in research related to the food industry and agribusiness management. 

Cal Poly Pomona is the home of Kellogg West, a hotel and conference facility. If you would like to sponsor a conference related to the mission of the CFMAS, please contact us.

CFMAS representatives have experience in providing training. Targeted groups include management, supervisory, and other employees of California agribusinesses and food industry firms.
