Professor Dawkins does research in the areas of corporate social responsibility, corporate disclosure, and social movement unionism. He has published research in the Business Ethics Quarterly, the Journal of Business Ethics, Business & Society, and Employee Relations. In addition he serves as a referee for the Journal of Business Ethics, Business & Society, and the Journal of Public Affairs.
He teaches both undergraduate and graduate level courses in the managemennt area including Fundamentals of Management, Business Ethics and Social Responsibility, Human Resource Management, and Global Management. Professionally, he is active in the International Association for Business and Society (IABS), and the Academy of Management (AoM). He has provided training programs for Steel Container Corporation, Merck Medco, and Nationwide Financial Services.
Prior to his academic career, Professor Dawkins worked in the financial services industry as a sales manager at The Prudential, and registered representative at The New England.
