Informational Interviews

Informational interviews provide the opportunity to gather information and advice from people who have special knowledge about a particular field or industry. You may choose to interview someone who supervises or hires employees for the position you are interested in, or, a peer, someone who possesses the type of position you desire. To obtain a clear, unbiased view of the industry or position that interests you, it is recommended that you interview a minimum of three people. Conducting the informational interview can result in making new networking contacts, obtaining referrals, and may possibly result in a job offer!

Job Shadow
