A Career Services professional with over 15 years experience in the delivery and administration of career development and placement services, Dawn brings an extensive background in Workforce Development encompassing career counseling, training and recruitment. Dawn has worked within the civil service, non-profit and the private sectors with a wide range of businesses from small "mom and pop" establishments to Fortune 500 corporations providing employee recruitment, redeployment planning and outplacement services. In her current role, Dawn's efforts are aimed at assisting employers to address their labor needs and optimize their recruiting efforts, including internship development, job design, labor market research, and connecting employers with faculty and student organizations. Dawn obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, with a minor in History from the University of La Verne, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Education at Cal Poly Pomona. Currently, Dawn serves on the Board of Directors for the California Internship and Work Experience Association (CIWEA), a state-wide professional development organization comprised of higher education professionals and employers.
