The 1999 CaPSET Reunion was held at Eastside Reservoir. The theme of this year's reunion was 'Dining at the Dam'. It was a chance to experience the largest earthmoving Dam Project in the country. By next year the shelter where we had lunch will be a playground for the fish and wildlife now being cultivated for the recreational site.
The Eastside Reservoir will double the storage capacity for water to the Southern California area -- insurance against dry seasons, earthquakes, etc. For more about the Eastside Reservoir see http://www.mwd.dst.ca.us/engr/docs/erproj.htm
