In 1996 the Annual CaPSET Reunion featured a private viewing of the movie 'Race the Sun' starring James Belushi and Halle Berry. A local theatre hosted this event as a fundraiser and promotional campaign for the Los Altos high school effort in getting their car, Solar Shadow, to the World Solar Challenge in Australia. Those of us who had rayced in Australia could relate to many of the scenes in the movie. An Aussie-style lunch (complete with flies) concluded the event.
