Scholarships of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics has four scholarships for the year 2008-2009. They are:

Samuel Gendel Memorial Scholarship
- Annual award is for a minimum of $250, with at least one award available.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 required.
- Financial need may be considered.
- Open to any mathematics or statistics graduate or undergraduate.
Dr. Emil R. Herzog Department Scholarship
- Annual award is for a minimum of $250, with at least one award available.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in both Math Core and overall
- Must be a senior or a graduate student as of Fall2008.
- Must have been enrolled at Cal Poly Mathematics and Statistics Department for at least one year prior to award.
Cameron Bogue Memorial Scholarship [Statistics]
- Annual award is for a minimum of $500, with at least one award available.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Math Core and overall
- Must be in the statistics option or have taken a significant number of statistics courses.
- Must be a full-time junior, senior, or graduate student at Cal Poly Pomona for the 2008-2009 schhol year.
Stuart Friedman Memorial Scholarship [Statistics]
- Annual award is for a minimum of $250, with a least one award available.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 required.
- Must be a math and stats major, with statistics option preferred.
- Must be a full-time student at Cal Poly Pomona for the 2008-2009 school year.
