Intertidal Mangrove Exhibit
Where the rivers meet the ocean, and salt and fresh water mix, the mangroves live. Representing several different plant families, mangroves live in shallow tropical estuaries, where they anchor the mud, filter out sediments, and create a rich habitat for other plants and animals.
