Rockefeller, Jr. Professor at The Rockefeller University, and Investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. He won the 1999 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine “for the discovery that proteins have intrinsic "ZIP code" signals that govern their transport and localization in the cell.”
