The 2007 Southern California Conference on Undergraduate Research will be held on the campus of California State University, Los Angeles on Saturday, November 17. This year, students must submit an abstract and receive an acceptance before registering to attend.  THE WEBSITE IS ACCEPTING ABSTRACTS AND THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS IS FRI., OCT. 5, 2007.   Students should discuss their presentation with their research mentor, and then go to the website at:  http://sccur.calstatela.edu/ to submit an abstract. Dr. Donald F. Hoyt, Associate Vice President for Research & Graduate Studies, has offered support for student registration fees.
