  • West Coast Biological Sciences Undergraduate Research Conference April 2007. The 32nd Annual Conference celebrates undergraduate research. The Conference will be held on the campus of Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Los
Angeles from 8:30 A.M. through 5 P.M. on Saturday, April 28th, 2007. Founded by Santa Clara University in 1975, the conference offers undergraduates an opportunity to present their original biological research to their peers and faculty from other institutions. This conference fosters interactions between students and faculty from academic institutions where active undergraduate research programs exist. In addition, we are delighted that Dr. Ann Hirsch, a leader in the molecular and genetic analysis of plant-microbe interactions, will be the plenary speaker. Dr. Hirsch is a faculty member in the Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology Department at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Some of the conference deadlines include: Abstract Submission: Friday, March 23rd, 2007, Pre-registration: Friday April 6, 2007
