About This Club

The Cal Poly Pomona Horse Show Team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). The team competes in intercollegiate horse shows hosted by various colleges in California, Nevada and Arizona. Student-owned horses compete in West Coast Intercollegiate Horse Show Association riding events such as Western-Pleasure, English-Pleasure, Equitation, Jumping and Trail Classes. The Cal Poly Team also competes in Intercollegiate Horse Show Association events where they show horses owned by the host colleges.

Annual Trips/Travel: We travel to 5 horse shows in San Diego, Moorpark, and Arizona.
General information: The equestrian team consists of students who either want to learn how to ride horses or already have experience with horses and want to further their show experience.
Club Goals: Our club goals are to teach beginners how to ride while taking our more advanced riders to nationals.
