Julie Hall Director of Development

Julie Hall joins the staff of Cal Poly Pomona after working in a similar role at Concordia University (Portland, OR) and Eastern Washington University (Cheney, WA). Hall has spent 13 years in higher education working with and serving students. A former Division II student-athlete in volleyball and basketball at University of Alaska-Fairbanks and Cal State Hayward, Julie’s passion for athletics runs deep. Julie’s charge as the Director of Development is to increase the level of external support for athletics and the units within the Division of Student Affairs. No stranger to Cal Poly Pomona, Hall served as the Director of Programs, Marketing and Intramurals for ASI from 1996-1998.

Julie will work closely with the Cal Poly Associates board to facilitate the fundraising efforts for athletics, which include the annual donor drive, corporate sponsorships, endowments and special events. Top priorities for he will be increasing the funding for student-athlete scholarships and enhancing the current facilities.

Julie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation (1990) and a Masters Degree in Public Administration (1995) from Cal State Hayward. She resides in Ontario with her husband Lorenzo and two children Brianna (4) and Malik (3).
