ECE 209L is the lab for ECE 209, Circuit Analysis II. It contains labs on the sinusoidal steady state responses of first and second order circuits containing controlled sources, op amps, capacitors and inductors. The writing of good, clear, easy to follow lab reports is stressed. PREREQUISITE: ECE 209.
Every student is required to purchase and bring to lab each week at least ten clip leads, 4 BNC to clip connectors and a proto board for building circuits. Free resistors and such are often available by the stockroom on the 5th floor. Everyone is required to build their own circuits and take their own measurements.
Lab reports are due at the beginning of the next lab period. Organization and neatness count a lot. In particular, be sure to
Lab Notebooks in accopress (Senior Project) folders are due at the end of the quarter. They need to include all handouts including the syllabus and lab experiments together with all returned work. Use dividers to separate the major sections. If you want to be in the running for an A or B you should correct returned reports in red ink.
Points will be given for work done as follows:
Note that Engineering students cannot drop classes after the third week unless there are documented extenuating circumstances. See the College of Engineering policy.
