ECE 207L is the lab for ECE 207. It contains labs on the transient and steady state responses of first and second order circuits containing controlled sources, op amps, capacitors and inductors. The writing of good, clear, easy to follow lab reports is stressed. PREREQUISITE: ECE 207. TEXT: ECE 207/207L Lab Manual by Felzer and Graham is available in the bookstore.
Every student is required to purchase and bring to lab each week at least ten clip leads, 4 BNC to clip connectors and a proto board for building circuits. Free resistors and such are often available by the stockroom on the 5th floor. Everyone is required to build their own circuits and take their own measurements.
Lab reports are due at the beginning of the next lab period. Organization and neatness count a lot. In particular, be sure to
Keep all returned work in an accopress (Senior Project) folder to hand in at the end of the Quarter.
Points will be given for work done as follows:
Note that Engineering students cannot drop classes after the third week unless there are documented extenuating circumstances. See the College of Engineering policy.
