Since coming to Cal Poly Pomona a few years ago, I have witnessed so much growth on our campus. Our enrollment of 21,477 students is up 20 percent from just five years ago, and many new projects are underway. This includes our University Library addition, scheduled to open fall 2008, as well as a new building for the College of Business Administration, to break ground at the same time.

I am proud to be affiliated with this amazing university and even more with those passionate and generous donors who continue to be a beacon of support. Your generous giving comes at a fitting time when the State of California is reducing support of higher education, ironically when education is most critical to boosting the economy. In fact, the CSU has increased student fees by more than 52 percent over the past five years, a heavy burden we wish our students didn’t have to bear.

Your support of education is not only changing the lives of our students every day but also helping to revive the economy. What more could a polyTECHnic university ask for? Thank you for your generous support!
