“As for me, I’ll invest my money in people.” W.
K. Kellogg
Cal Poly Pomona’s legacy of philanthropy and good will dates back to 1949 when breakfast cereal magnate W.K. Kellogg deeded 81.3 acres to the State of California for use in the expansion of Cal Poly’s Southern California program. Ever since, our students have relied upon and benefited from people — alumni, parents, friends — who followed Mr. Kellogg’s dictum. This investment serves to support the mission of the university and enhance the quality of education provided to our students.
The most significant benefit of participating in the Annual Fund is the immense satisfaction that comes from knowing you are investing in a university that transforms theory into practice. Your gift enables Cal Poly Pomona to maintain the standard of excellence necessary to preserve the future of polytechnic education for its students, the community and the world.
By making a gift to the Annual Fund, you will be providing young men and women with one of the greatest gifts of all — the gift of education.
