2012 Senior Class Gift

This year's Senior Class Gift will be purified water stations throughout the entire campus! These particular models of ELKAY purified water fountains have a “helped eliminate waste from [X] disposable plastic bottles” counter on them. Not only will purified water be free and easily accessible for students, but these fountains also serve as a visual and tangible account of CPP’s green/sustainability efforts for the entire campus community.

The entirety of the funding for the Senior Class Gift comes from graduating seniors. Since the beginning of the tradition, the Annual Fund has fundraised for the gift within their phonathon program by calling the seniors and encouraging their support. Depending on the magnitude of support from graduating seniors, the committee anticipates raising enough to install 5 to 10 fountains.

  • the bridges in the Japanese Garden from the classes of 2002 and 2003
