RELEVANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• United States Department of Energy Fellow in Integrated Manufacturing (1994-1997)
• Leadership in professional organizations: American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA), Product Development and Management Association, and International Textile and Apparel Association
• Established, organized, and prepared AM2 apparel product line’s material selection, fit specifications, contractor communication, assembly routing, receipt of goods, and retail pricing.
• Supervised fiber procurement, spinning, knitting, dyeing, and garment manufacture for Developing a Strategic California Cotton Advantage research project
• Ph.D. Dissertation A Concurrent Engineering Framework for Apparel Manufacture, originated a comprehensive apparel product development framework involving a network of suppliers, product developers, and retail customers
• Observed and compared a wide variety of apparel manufacturing headquarters or production environments.

Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Fellowship to study design decisions that impact apparel semi-automatic and automatic equipment (Reviewed and selected by NSF).
