October 10 – A piano benefit honoring recently retired Dr. Phillip Clarke and his 22-year teaching career at Cal Poly Pomona will include performances by music students, alumni and faculty. All proceeds will benefit the piano program. Read more...

President J. Michael OrtizPresident Michael Ortiz Delivers State of the University Address at Fall Conference
To prepare for the 2004-05 academic year, the campus community came together on Sept. 20 at Fall Conference, lead by Cal Poly Pomona President Michael Ortiz. The university's fifth president gave his State of the University address during the annual all-university breakfast and convocation, reflecting on his first year at Cal Poly Pomona and outlining upcoming goals.
